Natal Multimammate Mice (Mastomys natalensis) known as African Soft Furred Rats or ASF’s for short, are an African rodent species which is a natural prey for Ball Pythons and other African animals in the wild. ASF's are higher in protein than any other similar size rodents, which makes them a great power-food. Babies raised on Sort Furred Rats are known to grow larger in size and generally healthier than those fed with Rats or Mice during adolescence.
We breed our rodents on site! Our ASF's thrive on high-protein 23% Kent Rodent Diet supplemented with sunflower seeds, collards, dandelions, carrots and sweet potatoes.
