Surrender a Reptile

Surrender over abandon.
Rehome over purchase.

We kindly ask our visitors who faced unforeseen life obstacles and can no longer take care of their beloved exotic pet(s) to consider surrendering them to the good hands of Royal Python's Cove. Our dedicated team has been working on rehoming reptiles since 2022, and has successfully found homes for over 50 surrendereds!

If you happen to come across an abandoned cold-blooded animal, it's very important to alert about your find. Call us immediately and follow up by filling out a Surrender Form below. Most popular exotic cold-blooded pets won't make it through a single winter alive in the state of New Jersey.

Being indifferent has not helped anyone in this world! ♡

Happy & Adopted

3 year-old Male Bearded dragon

Draco

Draco came to our store after our employee picked him up from someone who couldn't take care of him any longer. Looking pretty depressed but all in all healthy, Draco was rehomed by a kind man who had lost his bearded dragon to old age the previous year. He once a while makes us happy with photo updates on Draco's life at his new home!

5 year-old Female red-tailed boa

Bean

This is Bean, and she had gone through over a year of starvation before the previous owner let us pick her up from his residence. We were heartbroken to see her condition, but from the very first day in our store, we knew she would win this battle. She's been always sweet to us despite the negligence she'd gone through.

5 year-old male bearded dragon

Lemmy

We admitted Jay (now Lemmy!) underweight, with a prolonged UTRI and gingivitis. He did not seem to be too alert at first, but as soon as we enforced proper diet, he's lightened up and showed his awesome demeanor. He spent 7 months with us receiving daily care, proper nutrition and supplements as well as antibiotic treatment and vet supervision in order to enhance the quality of his life. Now he is in loving hands of an experienced reptile keeper! ♡@yourealizardlarry
